Danilo Amigoni - Sales Director Retail, Baldassare Agnelli Spa
Danilo was born in Cittiglio (VA) on 31st of August 1975. He trained at a Technical Institute where he graduated in electronics and telecommunications. He served as Caporal Instructor at Genius Pioneers. Then, Danilo started his career as trade agent in the household sector for about 3 years. He then worked for six years as a general agent of foreign factories for the Italian market. Since 2005 Danilo joined the group Agnelli where he became first sales manager of a wholesale company of products for the Ho.Re.Ca then took charge also of the commercial management of FASA, a producer of aluminum products.
He’s accredited teacher Saps (Testing Room Tools Cooking). He’s co-author of "Handbook of Food" and "Manual cooking tools." He teachs at hotel schools and universities (Faculty of Agriculture of Milan in science and technology of food, University of sciences of oenology and gastronomy located in Pollenzo). Danilo has always kept relations with the associations of aluminum following the project AFFG (Aluminium for future generation) and also in the more specific context of the aluminum in the kitchen. Danilo has a good relationships with the Superior Health Institute. He cooperated with the working group of the aluminum area at the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan which opened last February. Since 2010 Danilo is enrolled in the evening of economy and trade of the Catholic University of Milan.
Franco Bove - Chief Operating Officer, Guala Closures Group
After achieving a Degree in Economics and a MBA in USA, Franco began his professional career in 1995 at American National Can, a company from the Group Pechiney, as Vice President Operations Beverage Cans Europe, till 1998. From 1999, he is Chief Operating Officer, Board Member and Shareholder at Guala Closures Group. He was born in Nocera Inferiore (SA) in 1958. He is married with four children.
Fausto Capelli – Managing Director of Centro Inox
Fausto Capelli, who graduated with a degree in Engineering from the Milan Polytechnic, is Managing Director of the Centro Inox where he has been employed for the past 30 years. He was an assistant professor in the Milan Polytechnic's Institute of Mechanical Technology for two years and professor for the "Technologies of Materials" course in the "International College" in Milan for five years. He currently collaborates with several publishing houses and has prepared more than 300 technical articles and reports on stainless steel used in various sectors such as the food, chemical and petrochemical industries, the construction sector, etc. He is freelance journalist since 1989. He has presented reports regarding technologies of metal materials and their use at approximately 200 different conferences and congresses. Thanks to his expertise on stainless steel, Dr. Capelli is a technical consultant for numerous companies in the chemical, petrochemical, aeronautic, construction, food, and catering sectors. He is currently Managing Editor of the quarterly magazine "Inossidabile" and Sole Administrator of the company “Centro Inox Servizi Srl”, he is member of the “technical-scientific” committee of the magazine “Lamiera”. In 2011 he was honored of the title of “Cavaliere dell’Ordine Al merito della Repubblica Italiana”.
Andrea Guarneri – Trader at Kommodities Partners Sa
He assumed in March 1995 the management of the family farm (170 hectares).
In the meanwhile he develops the activities of financial hedging of USA markets grains.
Then spreads his knowledge on the trading of all major commodities and related indices. Since September 2006, he played the role of technical analyst and trader on non-ferrous metals on LME and Forex.
He is teacher in technical analysis and financial instruments such as futures and options training courses. He has held  lectures on the financial markets at the Bocconi University of Milan. Andrea Guarneri is interviewed on a weekly basis from the financial channel CNBC Class.
Currently he has been working as technical analyst and trader on commodities, forex and indices at Kommodities Partners SA.
Paolo Kauffmann – Founder FARO
After graduating in Business Administration and obtaining a Master Degree in technical analysis, he started his professional career embracing technical and intermaket analysis.
Later in the years, the study of the emotional impact involved in raw materials trading and purchasing led him to become a coach for several industrial companies, supporting them in establishing suitable risk management policies. In 1989 he is co-founder with his father Giovanni of Kauffmann&Sons, the company specialized in managing commodities price risks. In 2003 he is the founder of FARO, The Commodities Club, and then in 2005 of Kommodities Partners Sa based in Mendrisio (CH) in order to create a skilled team in brokerage operations.
Thanks to the passion for his area of expertise, he has been teaching in a number of courses on commodity exchanges, hedging tools and trading techniques, organized in collaboration with educational institutions and associations.
Author of numerous articles for several market analysis and technical journals (eg, Il Mondo, A&L Aluminium and its Alloys, Macchine Utensili, Il Giornale di Brescia). Speaker at conferences and talks as Commodity analyst and regular speaker at Weekly Webinar and at  FARO, where thanks to the knowledge gained in the markets he can transfer to the participants his experience.
Fond of sailing and sea, he learned from these passions that you cannot go upwind but you have to make use of what you have got at hand to reach your destination.
Edward Meir – Senior Metal Analyst, INTL FCStone Inc.
Mr. Meir has been in the commodities business for more than 30 years in various capacities. After getting his BA in economics from McGill University and his M.B.A from NYU, Mr. Meir started his career in the early 1980’s with Drexel Burnham Lambert, covering sugar, coffee and cocoa. After five years at Drexel, he spent the next nine years trading aluminum, tin and steel for Trans-World Metals. He then formed his own physical brokerage company that represented various trading companies as their international agent. In 2003, his firm was retained by MF Global as an outside commodity research consultant for base metals and energy. In November 2011, along with the rest of the MF Global team, he moved his consultancy to INTL FCStone, where he continues to provide award-winning research commentary on base and precious metals. Metal Bulletin ranked Mr. Meir as the #1 overall base metals analyst in terms of forecast accuracy in both 2011 and 2014 and assigned him a #2 ranking in 2013.
Ambrogio Merlo - Board Member, Carcano Antonio Spa
After the degree in Mechanical Engineering, he increases his in Saint-Gobain, working in an international environment, with a specific focus on Industrial Management, Marketing and Controlling. Afterwards, in quality of General Manager and/or CEO, he drives the Development Plans of some Companies like TVS Spa, VIBRAM Spa and Candy Cooling Sector, increasing a deep knowledge in strategic development, in business internationalisation and in change management. He becomes Board Member of Carcano Antonio Spa with a special delegation to the Development Plan. From 2013 he’s in charge to start up a Multinational Company with the target to transfer the innovative technologies Michelin from tire to soles for technical shoes.

Christian Muckermann - Managing Director, Hydro Aluminium Slim Spa 
Christian is German and graduated as metallurgical Engineer at the University in Aachen. He began his career in 1998 at Vereinigte Aluminiumwerke AG in the business unit Lithography at Grevenbroich.
Since 2002 he is working at Norsk Hydro, a fully integrated Aluminium Company with 13.000 Employees in more than 50 Countries, where he has built-up relevant international Experience in the Aluminium Rolled Products Industry. He realized his Career Growth within the Operations Area, having held various Leadership Position up to the Appointment in 2011 as Managing Director of Slim, Hydro’s Italian Rolled Products Plant. Since 2012, Christian is also guiding the Italian Aluminium Association CENTROAL, interacting with all relevant Stakeholders on National and European Level. He is also Board Member of the Italian Non-Ferrous Metals Association ASSOMET. Christian is married with one daughter and living in Rome.

Cino Ricci - Founder and Honorary Member of AITI
Mr. Cino Ricci was born in Milan. A Business Administration graduate of Bocconi University, he began work in 1973 at Banca Commerciale Italiana, followed by a year with Farmila as foreign salesman. Over the years he gained wide experience with banking and manufacturing companies: Credito Commerciale, Saint Gobain Group, Crédit Agricole, Banque Paribas, ABB Spa, ABB Finanziaria, SIB Leasing Spa and SIB Rental srl and Abaxbank. Mr. Ricci has been an independent corporate and investment banking consultant since 2004. He has sat on the Boards of Société de Participations Ricordeau, Interbanca Gestione Investimenti SGR Spa, Veneta Factoring Spa, and Saunier Duval Italia Spa and is a member of several European and international financial associations.
Gianni Rizzuto – Managing Director, Foundry Alfe Chem Srl
Mr. Gianni Rizzuto, a graduate in both the sciences and humanities, started work in 1980 in the chemical and lubricant marketing sector. In 2000 he started his own company, Foundry Alfe Chem. Doing business in the main industrial countries, and with three operating units in Italy, the company is a leader in raw materials and products for sustainable eco-compliant industrial processes. The demand for bio-based lubricants continues to grow as governments commit to industrial strategies underpinned by sustainability, environmental responsibility and renewables. Foundry Alfe Chem has developed and tested a new breakthrough product and technologies for the metal processing industry that will be presented at the 42nd Faro meeting.
Arrigo Sadun – President of TLSG, International Advisors
From 2005 to 2012 he held the position of Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund for Italy, Albania, Greece, Malta, Portugal, San Marino and Timor-Leste. Previously, Dr. Sadun had held the following positions: Director of  economic and financial analysis at the Italian Finance & Economic Ministry in Rome; President and founder of  Business Information Group - BIG ( an economic consulting serving customers in Europe and in the USA); President of the WEFA Group, a worldwide leader in economic forecasting & consulting firm established by the merger of Wharton Econometrics & Chase Econometrics); President of Chase Econometrics, Inc. and Vice President of Chase Econometrics-Europe, Brussels, Belgium. Dr. Sadun holds a PhD and a M.A  in International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, Washington D.C.- USA; and a degree in Political Science from La Sapienza University, Rome. He was born in Bologna, he is married with two children.
Gino Schiona - Director of CIAL
Gino Schiona has been the General Manager of CIAL (Consorzio Imballaggi Alluminio, Aluminium Packaging Consortium) since 2000. He was born in Trento and in 1986 he graduated as an architect at Milan Polytechnic University. After having worked for long as Project Manager within Siemens Power generation Division, he worked for some years at Replastic as Research and Development Manager, a position which allowed him to broaden significantly his experience in the environment and energy field. In 1998, as member of the task force, he took part in the start-up process of Conai (Consorzio Nazionale Imballaggi, National Consortium for Packaging) and afterwords he was entrusted with roles of increasing responsibility within the system: from the management of the Recycling and Sales business unit at the Plastic Packaging Consortium, to his current position at CIAL.
Gordon Shade - CEO at Empac
Gordon Shade has been CEO at Empac (European Metal Packaging) since 2011. Previously, he held senior managerial positions in the packaging industry with Carnaud Metal Box, Lawson Mardon, Alusuisse, Impress and Ardagh Group, including general management, commercial, external affairs and communications. A Scottish Chartered Accountant by qualification, Gordon spent over 10 years with Price Waterhouse in Madrid, The Hague, Paris and Milan.
Raphael Thevenin - Sales and Marketing Director - Beverage, Food and Personal Care, Packaging and Automotive Rolled Products, Constellium
Raphael Thevenin is French, he’s married with 3 children and lives in Colmar, France. He holds a Business Degree and a Master of Economics. He has been working in the UK, Australia, Belgium and France. He has a long experience in sales & marketing in the area of automotive and metal packaging. He’s been working with Constellium for 13 years in different roles in sales and marketing. His hobbies are piloting private planes and triathlon.
Stéphane Tondo – Board Member, Apeal
Stéphane Tondo is Chief Marketing Officer in charge of the Packaging and Oil&Gas segments within ArcelorMittal Europe. He also represents Arcelormittal with the Association of European Producers of Steel for Packaging (APEAL). Stéphane joined Sollac automotive sales division in 1998 after a 4 years experience as sales engineer for a German stamping presses and dies manufacturer. He held since then several positions within ArcelorMittal, from market development engineer, through various Key-account Manager responsibilities (Fiat, CLN, Daimler, Chrysler, Suzuki, Equipment makers). In 2010, Stéphane became head of an automotive sales area covering German and Italian car makers, as well as trucks and subcontractors. He is in the current position since October 2013. Stéphane graduated in 1994 as sales engineer from the Esidec-ICN business school in Metz (France) after a degree in mechanical engineering. He spent most of his career abroad, living successively in Germany, France, Italy and Luxembourg.
